Arbor Crest First Fridays at River Park Square are a delightful way to experience unique local art, soulful music, savory food and delectable wine. From paintings to photography, glass and metalwork, we welcome artists of all mediums from around the Inland Northwest to talk about, exhibit and sell their original pieces on the first Friday of every month. Arbor Crest is proud to participate in this monthly city-wide event and provide our support to the Spokane area arts and music scene.
Meet the artist when you join us in the Tasting Room on Friday, May 3, from 6 to 9 p.m., or stop in for a viewing of these lovely works any time. We look forward to celebrating art and wine with you!
“Balancing Act”

ARTISTS: Olivia Waterman and Keiko von Holt | Sumi-e Paintings and Calligraphy
The word “sumi-e” means black ink (sometimes with color) on rice paper. The art dates back to ancient China, about 700 A.D., but it originated many years before that as calligraphy when handmade paper was first invented. From China to Japan the art and aesthetics flowed and prospered. Keiko Von Holt and Olivia Waterman have carried on this traditional form of art and aesthetics and have added their own personalities and contemporary experiences.

- Unless noted, events begin at 6:00pm and end at 9:00pm.
- Wine is available for purchase by the taste, glass, or bottle until 15 minutes before closing time.
